My father was a man of integrity. He was man of the handshake era where once a deal was struck both parties loved forward in trust. He was loyal to a fault, trustworthy, honest and always told the truth-even if it hurt your feelings.I noted these values long ago and they are words to live by;
Wisdom...I try to listen to those who have more life experiences. The elderly have wisdom in spades.
The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing-Socrates
Truth…The only way to live in my opinion.
3 things cannot long be hidden; the sun, the moon and the truth-Buddha
Joy…I seek this out every day and look for it in the simplest of places.
Happiness lies in the joy of achievement and the thrill of creative effort-Franklin D. Roosevelt
Faith: The foundation my father gave me. It has helped me out immeasurably in the past five years.
I am the Way, the truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me-Jesus Christ
Hope:The reason to get out of bed each day.
Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness.-Desmond Tutu
Love: The only thing that matters in the end.
I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear-Martin Luther King.
Which words do you live by?
Truth is definitely on the top of the list. Communication, conversation, cooperation… also up there. And here’s another..inspiring!…the one I think of when I see your flaylays.
