Who doesn’t love flowers, but more pointedly-peonies? I am fortunate to have an abundance of these gorgeous blooms that resemble huge scoops of ice cream.The funny thing is, I can’t seem to find the deep purple variety. I have purchased the vibrant purple from the greenhouse a few times, only to discover come spring, that I was sold a nice pink one instead. And though I love peonies in any colour ( I’d grow them if they were black), I am still on the search for a true deep indigo which appears to elude me. Here are some samples for your pleasure.
